UC United Competence GmbH is a cooperation partner of Internationale Gesellschaft fuer Biologische Medizin (IGBM)
23.01.2009 Potsdam: (openpr) - Through this cooperation both partners are focusing their support on training and
development for doctors in naturopathic and biological medicine. This also involves conveying the basic principles
behind oxygen utilisation, which has a direct link with Active Air therapy (active-air.com). It is used to significantly
improve the regulation of disturbed processes in the autonomic nervous system (ANS) and also helps secondary processes,
such as hormone production, to function more effectively again too. Active Air® therapy helps lay the foundation for
therapeutic success, health and well-being.
The correlation between disturbed autonomic nervous system function and the onset and progression of chronic disorders
have been very well researched and documented in modern science. Results reveal that holistic therapeutic intervention in
the areas of medicine, fitness and wellness are becoming increasingly more important, as the following example regarding
physical processes makes clear: In the human body blood pressure is controlled by means of the vessel diameter through the
autonomic nervous system, which constantly adjusts it to prevailing internal and external conditions.
Vascular constriction
indicates tensing, which results in high blood pressure. Where the vessels are dilated, blood pressure is low. During
sporting activity (tension) blood pressure is therefore higher than when at rest (relaxation), because in order to secure
the additional energy required, the body pumps more blood enriched with oxygen and nutrients to the muscle cells. Increased
blood pressure is therefore a sensible biological response in terms of cause and effect, since it ensures a quicker blood
flow rate and therefore increased energy production in the cells. But this self-regulation can be disrupted by a number of
different factors and blood pressure remains raised even when the body is at rest, without the person affected realising
this at first.
A regulatory disorder of this kind causes serious complaints and chronic diseases and the aim of Active Air® therapy is to prevent these from happening, or ease the symptoms in more advanced cases. This is achieved by inhaling through a nasal cannula and is suitable for all age groups. Its use is not only restricted to medicine either. The therapy can also be used in the area of prevention as well as in sport, since functions of the autonomic nervous system that are already disturbed, but as yet undetected, can be measurably improved again.
The therapy is easy to use and can be combined with both conventional and naturopathic therapies
Participating companies:
Internationale Gesellschaft für Biologische Medizin e.V. Baden Baden (IGBM) / Internationale Gesellschaft für Homöopathie und toxokologie Medizin e.V. Baden Baden (IGHH)
The company was founded on 25 June 1961 by Dr. Hans-Heinrich Reckeweg in Baden-Baden. The aim of the company is to foster and promote biological medicine, homeopathy, homotoxicology and corresponding research. Members of the company are registered doctors, vets, dentists and chemists. The company has affiliates in 25 countries.
The responsibilities of IGHH and IGBM include the organisation and implementation of:
- scientific congresses and seminars in Germany and abroad, in which biological medicine, homeopathy, homotoxicology and antihomotoxic therapy are represented and new research developed
- courses for doctors on general and specific antihomotoxic treatment methods
- research tasks in the area of biological medicine, particularly homeopathy and homotoxicology, but also including applied areas
- further and advanced training events in the areas of naturopathy and homeopathy with the purpose of attaining additional qualifications
